About the Role

Data Engineer role focused on transforming Operations Finance data access and analysis through AWS-based solutions. The position involves designing and implementing data infrastructure, migrating analytics use cases, and contributing to data governance frameworks. The engineer will work on system architecture and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Elevate and optimize existing solutions while driving strategic migration to central platforms
• Design, review and implement data solutions using AWS technologies and internal tools
• Support data solutions adoption by finance and technical teams and remove adoption blockers
• Contribute to engineering excellence by reviewing design and code created by others
• Create technical and customer-facing documentation on platform products

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• MS or BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar fields
• Strong AWS engineering background with 5+ years designing and operating data solutions in Native AWS
• Strong data modeling experience with 5+ years practice and expertise in analytical/operational data models
• Excellent knowledge of modern data architecture concepts (data lakes, lakehouses) and governance practices

Nice to Have:

• Data Governance frameworks experience
• Compliance frameworks experience, SOX preferred
• Familiarity or production level experience with AI-based AWS offerings (Bedrock)
