About the Role

Data Engineer role at Amazon Devices and Services FinTech team, building financial planning and analysis tools. Responsible for designing next-generation financial solutions using AWS resources and TM1, building scalable data pipelines, and improving reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement next generation financial solutions using AWS resources and TM1
• Build and deliver high quality scalable data pipelines
• Improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes and infrastructure
• Solve problems at their root by identifying failure patterns and implementing fixes
• Create documentation and training materials on best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years of data engineering experience
• 4+ years of SQL experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM
• Experience with non-relational databases / data stores
