About the Role

This role involves designing, developing, and deploying data solutions for Amazon's Financial Close Systems. The Data Engineer will build scalable ETL pipelines, optimize data models, and ensure data governance using AWS technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Financial Close Systems processes
• Build scalable data models, ETL/ELT processes, and data transformations
• Enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards
• Collaborate with business users to identify problems and propose innovative solutions
• Responsible for full software development life cycle in AWS Cloud

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Experience with SQL

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles
• Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)
