About the Role

Data Engineer at Meta designs and builds extensive data sets to shape product experiences across apps like Facebook and Instagram. The role involves collaborating with engineering and product teams to solve data challenges at scale, ensuring data security and quality. Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and own data architecture for large-scale projects
• Design, build, and launch sophisticated data models and visualizations
• Solve data integration problems using ETL patterns and query techniques
• Define and manage Service Level Agreements for data sets
• Mentor team members and provide actionable feedback

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant technical field
• 4+ years of experience working with data (e.g., data analyst, engineer, scientist)
• 4+ years of experience with SQL, ETL, data modeling, and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++)
• Must remain in role in India for minimum 24 months before transfer

Nice to Have:

• Master's or Ph.D degree in a STEM field
