About the Role

This role is a Manufacturing Operations Manager position at Meta, focusing on designing production planning systems, developing databases, and creating reporting tools to optimize manufacturing operations. The candidate will analyze production data and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop a production planning system to simulate and optimize production plans
• Develop and implement a robust database system to manage and analyze production data from various sources
• Create reporting systems including dashboards, reports, and alerts for the operations team
• Analyze production data to identify trends and provide recommendations for efficiency improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems meet business requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in data analysis or optimization
• Good data processing skills including data modeling, mining, and visualization
• Experience in system modeling and optimization with tools like linear programming and simulation

Nice to Have:

• Understanding of MES logic and experience with MES systems
• Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques
• Experience with agile project management methodologies
• Experience in manufacturing operations
