About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Model complex problems and build risk algorithms using statistical models and machine learning
• Analyze terabytes of data to unlock insights and ensure platform security
• Develop and maintain data quality processes including sourcing, normalization, and cross-lingual alignment
• Define and conduct experiments to validate hypotheses and communicate insights to product and tech teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance automation processes and build scalable solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 2+ years of data scientist experience
• 3+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), or statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab)
• 3+ years of experience with machine learning/statistical modeling tools and techniques
• Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience in Python, Perl, or another scripting language
• Experience in a ML or data scientist role with a large technology company
