About the Role

Data Scientist III role at Twitch Interactive (Amazon) in New York, NY. Key Responsibilities

• Own data science elements of products for decision making and performance optimization
• Work with product managers to drive product design and build planning
• Translate business problems into data requirements and metrics
• Design, develop and implement scientific analysis projects and data science solutions
• Communicate model/analysis results to business stakeholders through documents and presentations

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Master's degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 2 years experience
• OR Bachelor's degree with 5 years progressive experience
• 1 year experience building statistical and machine learning models using large datasets
• 1 year experience building complex data analyses using Python, Java or related scripting languages
• 1 year experience communicating with users, technical teams and management to collect requirements and develop processes
