About the Role

Data Scientist role focused on DeFi quantitative research and optimization. Responsibilities include performing novel quantitative research, managing client engagements end-to-end, and developing expert knowledge of cryptoeconomic mechanisms. The position requires 4+ years of experience in quantitative fields and strong Web3/crypto native expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform novel quantitative research on DeFi protocols through mechanism design and data analysis
• Take end-to-end ownership of client engagements including scoping and relationship management
• Draft and write high-quality research publications for public consumption
• Build and deploy visually compelling dashboards for internal and external use
• Develop expert-level knowledge of complex cryptoeconomic mechanisms in DeFi

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 4+ years of professional experience in quantitative or data-focused field
• Extremely clear and effective communication and client management skills
• Proven track record of drawing deep insights from complex datasets
• Must be Crypto Native with strong Web3 experience

Nice to Have:

• Experience with derivatives-style products
• Experience managing external client relationships
• Published or presented research in the space
