About the Role

This role is a Data Security Cloud Solution Architect focused on helping customers secure their environments with Microsoft security products, particularly Purview (DLP, MIP, IRM). The architect removes technical blockers, builds IP, and delivers strategic workshops to advance customers' security journeys.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help customers create security plans and strategies using Microsoft security solutions
  • Propose viable solutions based on MS security products and demonstrate complex concepts
  • Apply technical knowledge of security architecture to meet business and IT requirements
  • Support customer projects as a subject matter expert in Microsoft Security solutions
  • Gather customer insights to map solutions with business outcomes and identify technical blockers

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 4+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of success in delivering complex technical security and compliance deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed infrastructure and applications
  • Breadth of knowledge across cloud security computing domains and expert level hands-on experience in Microsoft Security, specifically deep expertise in Purview (DLP, MIP, IRM) or equivalent experience with other Data security technologies
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship (Microsoft cannot sponsor a work visa for this role)

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 6+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience
  • 4+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external)
  • 4+ years experience working on technical projects
  • Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications)
