About the Role

The Delivery Consultant - Data Architect role at AWS Professional Services involves designing, implementing, and managing AWS data analytics solutions for customers. You will lead project teams, provide technical guidance, and act as a trusted advisor on cloud migration and modernization strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project teams designing and implementing end-to-end large-scale, complex, scalable, and secure Data Analytics AWS solutions
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective Data & Analytics migration and modernization strategies
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
• Knowledge of primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53 & S3)
• Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments

Nice to Have:

• 5+ years of IT implementation experience
• Degree in advanced technology or AWS Professional level certification
• Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
• Experience and technical expertise in cloud computing technologies
• Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale
• Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments
• Experience presenting technical solutions to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments
