About the Role

This role is a Digital Solution Engineer for Cloud & AI Data, helping UK and Ireland enterprises modernize their data platforms using Microsoft's cloud database and analytics stack. You'll lead technical engagements like Proof of Concepts and hackathons, guide customers through secure solution design, and accelerate adoption of Azure SQL, Fabric, and other cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive technical sales with decision makers using demos and PoCs to influence solution design
• Lead hands-on engagements like hackathons and architecture workshops to accelerate platform adoption
• Build trusted relationships with platform leads to co-design secure, scalable architectures
• Resolve technical blockers and collaborate with engineering teams to improve products
• Maintain deep proficiency in Microsoft's Analytics Portfolio and Cloud & AI Databases

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Solid technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proficient in Cloud & AI Databases (SQL DB, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL) for migration and AI apps
• Proficient in Cloud & AI Analytics (Fabric, Databricks, Purview) and competitor platforms

Nice to Have:

• Experience with on-prem EDW platforms like Teradata, Netezza, Exadata
• Experience with Hadoop & BI solutions
• Proven ability to lead technical engagements that drive production-scale outcomes
