About the Role

Director, Cloud Solution Architect - Federal role leading a team in designing and delivering cloud architecture solutions for federal government customers. Provides technical leadership, drives business impact through risk management and governance, and ensures customer-centric delivery of Microsoft Azure solutions. Requires active Top Secret security clearance and extensive cloud technology experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive adherence to Microsoft standards and governance to minimize business and technical risks
  • Provide team with holistic perspective of customer challenges, industry trends, and competitor architectures
  • Manage business metrics and ensure team delivers on Microsoft's Customer Promise
  • Foster technical excellence through coaching, innovation, and intellectual property development
  • Develop and expand relationships with customer architects, C-level decision makers, and business stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting, or architecture
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • Active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance
  • U.S. citizenship verification required

Nice to Have:

  • 6+ years experience in customer-facing roles or 4+ years leading technical projects/teams
  • Understanding/experience with Microsoft's Azure platform and related capabilities
  • Technical Certification in Cloud (Azure, AWS, Google, security certifications)
  • Experience leading across sales and delivery organizations
