About the Role

The Electrical Design Engineer will design resilient, cost-effective electrical distribution systems for AWS data centers. Responsibilities include creating construction documents, collaborating with teams, and ensuring compliance with codes. The role requires travel and supports global infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for data centers from concept to construction documents
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to specify equipment
• Ensure compliance with building codes and utility requirements
• Review and approve equipment submittals and support commissioning
• Travel to sites for engineering evaluations and system audits

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities
• 4+ years of commissioning experience
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Nice to Have:

• Professional Engineer License
• Experience with building codes and regulations for your region
• Experience carrying design concepts through exploration to deployment
