About the Role

The Electrical Engineering Technician (Data Centers) is responsible for hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment in AWS data centers. This role ensures operational excellence and safety while performing preventive maintenance and critical switching activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure preventive maintenance of site-critical facility infrastructure is planned and executed to highest standards
• Perform frequent site interventions, critical switching activities, and troubleshoot infrastructure issues
• Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment ensuring safety procedures are followed
• Draft, update, and maintain method statements, SOPs, emergency response procedures, and preventive maintenance programs
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver operational excellence and 100% uptime

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory
• High school or equivalent diploma
• CFGS / FPII Electromechanical maintenance, power plants, electrical installations, renewable energies

Nice to Have:

• Experience in data center engineering
• Knowledge of data center capacity planning and reporting
• Ability to draft accurate support procedures, compile system documentation, and issue tracking entries
