About the Role

Forward Deployed Engineer at Comena, a YC S25 startup building AI agents to automate order processing for industrial distributors and manufacturers. You'll be one of the first hires, combining technical skills with customer interaction to onboard clients, implement solutions, and develop full-stack features using Python and TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead customer onboarding and implementation, configuring, testing, and deploying AI agents
• Integrate platform with client data (e.g., product catalog) and systems (e.g., ERP)
• Work closely with founders and customers to translate needs into technical solutions
• Develop and ship full-stack product features using TypeScript frontend and Python backend
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and training to drive customer adoption and success

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• High agency, ability to operate independently and take ownership
• Excellent communication skills and enjoys working with non-technical stakeholders
• Ships full-stack products quickly without compromising on code quality
• Loves startups and wants to work very hard beyond traditional 9-5 hours
