About the Role

Founding Engineer role at Roe AI, a hypergrowth startup revolutionizing data management for financial risk and compliance. You'll build an AI agent platform, develop mission-critical features for Fortune 500 customers, and work end-to-end in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a hybrid position in the SF Bay Area requiring 3 days/week in-office.

Key Responsibilities

• Build AI agent platform for risk and compliance in financial industry
• Build mission critical features for Fortune 500 customers
• Own problems end-to-end and review team code
• Architect platform and implement sophisticated algorithms/models
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster innovation

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 1-4 years of full-stack software development experience
• If less than 2 years experience, GPA >= 3.7
• Communicative
• Comfortable with Python, Cursor, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), and agent frameworks
• Must be in office 3 days/week (hybrid in SF Bay Area)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AI/ML frameworks
• Background in finance or risk/compliance domains
• Startup experience or entrepreneurial mindset
