About the Role

Front End Engineer building state-of-the-art land analytics software solutions for AWS Data Center Supply Solutions. You'll design scalable front-end architecture, integrate spatial/mapping components, and collaborate with product teams to deliver web applications that empower real estate teams to meet global AWS customer capacity needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build highly responsive and intuitive web applications as part of a land analytics software system
  • Integrate spatial data formats, mapping libraries, and third-party back-end services to deliver application functionalities
  • Own and drive the technical design of scalable and maintainable front-end solutions
  • Provide technical feasibility assessments for feature designs and lead technical trade-off decisions
  • Write clean, maintainable code and develop reusable UX libraries

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling)
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS

Nice to Have:

  • 4+ years of full software development life cycle experience (coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, operations)
  • Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
  • Knowledge of GIS and mapping libraries such as ArcGIS Maps SDK, Leaflet, OpenLayers, or Google Maps API
  • Knowledge of integrating front-end web applications with Salesforce APIs
  • Knowledge of web services technologies such as REST, SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, and XSD
