About the Role

The Business Lead drives growth for an AI workflow automation startup by managing customer success, product development, and sales. This role involves owning the customer lifecycle, developing strategies for retention, and collaborating cross-functionally to shape product and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end customer lifecycle from prospect to renewal and expansion
  • Develop and execute customer success strategies that drive retention and growth
  • Lead product strategy discussions and translate customer needs into product requirements
  • Establish customer feedback loops and advocate for client needs internally
  • Analyze customer data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in a highly analytical, detail-oriented environment (e.g., consulting, investment banking, PE, early-stage startup)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Experience working closely with product and engineering teams

Nice to Have:

  • Early-stage startup experience (Series A or earlier)
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or technology products
  • Background in customer success or account management
