About the Role

Lead Fulfillment Associate performs various roles within Amazon fulfillment centers including Trainer, Process Assistant, and Shipping Clerk. Responsibilities include production duties like pick/pack orders, inventory management, and communicating instructions to associates while maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform production duties (pick/pack orders, receive/stow product, inventory accuracy)
  • Communicate instructions to other associates and motivate team members
  • Maintain work area safety and follow safety protocols
  • Support daily management of department duties (allocating labor, leading meetings)
  • Coordinate with carriers and manage inbound/outbound logistics

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Physical ability to lift 49 pounds, stand/walk up to 12 hours, push/pull/squat/bend/reach

Nice to Have:

  • Completed Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
  • 1+ year of leadership experience directly managing others
  • 1+ year experience in manufacturing/distribution/warehousing/large retail
  • Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
