About the Role

Lead UI/UX Designer role at QFEX, a financial exchange building a retail trading platform. Responsible for defining design systems, leading end-to-end design, and establishing user research processes. Requires 3+ years experience designing high-performance, data-dense applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and build QFEX's design system and brand identity
• Lead end-to-end design from wireframes to production-ready UI/UX
• Institute continuous user research and feedback loops
• Establish scalable design processes and communication channels
• Partner closely with frontend engineers to implement designs

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years designing high-performance, data-dense applications
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end work (wireframes, mockups, prototypes)
• Experience setting up and synthesizing usability studies, A/B tests, analytics dashboards
• UK work authorization and willingness to work Monday-Friday from central London office

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to order-flow, market-data visualization, risk dashboards, or crypto exchanges
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React)
• Track record of scaling design function rapidly and iterating under tight deadlines
