About the Role

Legal Counsel supporting AWS Sales & Marketing in EMEA, drafting IT service agreements and handling high-value contracts with enterprise customers. Provides legal advice to senior executives, resolves disputes, and addresses regulatory issues for cloud computing services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft IT service agreements and high-value contracts with AWS enterprise customers and partners
  • Lead regional and global initiatives to address emerging regulatory and policy issues
  • Provide day-to-day legal advice to senior executives and business teams
  • Resolve queries in existing customer relationships and handle pre-litigation disputes
  • Support AWS France Sales and Marketing team as well as wider EMEA operations

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Qualified and admitted to practice law in France
  • Minimum 2+ years of post-qualification experience
  • Excellent communication, drafting and negotiation skills
  • Professional fluency in English and French (written and spoken)

Nice to Have:

  • Experience at a leading law firm or technology company
  • Transactional experience including drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, outsourcing, telecommunications, cloud computing, AI/ML, or consulting contracts
