About the Role

This role involves developing AI-driven solutions for Amazon's talent acquisition processes, focusing on machine learning and software engineering. You will work on state-of-the-art research, advanced software tools, and machine learning algorithms to transform hiring. The position requires collaboration with scientists to solve complex ML problems and deliver scalable, fair recruitment systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop AI-driven solutions for talent acquisition lifecycle
  • Work alongside applied and research scientists on machine learning problems
  • Focus on customer experience and teamwork to achieve results
  • Utilize deep learning, generative AI, and LLMs for recruitment at scale
  • Maintain capabilities like job-person matching and automated applicant evaluation

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Experience in professional software development (non-internship)
  • Programming experience with at least one modern language (Java, C++, C#) including object-oriented design
  • Experience designing or architecting systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling)
  • Experience with full software development life cycle (coding standards, reviews, source control, testing, operations)

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics, or natural language processing
