About the Role
This role involves developing AI-driven solutions for Amazon's talent acquisition processes, focusing on machine learning and software engineering. You will work on state-of-the-art research, advanced software tools, and machine learning algorithms to transform hiring. The position requires collaboration with scientists to solve complex ML problems and deliver scalable, fair recruitment systems.Key Responsibilities
- Develop AI-driven solutions for talent acquisition lifecycle
- Work alongside applied and research scientists on machine learning problems
- Focus on customer experience and teamwork to achieve results
- Utilize deep learning, generative AI, and LLMs for recruitment at scale
- Maintain capabilities like job-person matching and automated applicant evaluation
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must Have:
- Experience in professional software development (non-internship)
- Programming experience with at least one modern language (Java, C++, C#) including object-oriented design
- Experience designing or architecting systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling)
- Experience with full software development life cycle (coding standards, reviews, source control, testing, operations)
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics, or natural language processing
