About the Role

Axle is seeking a Product Engineer to build a universal API for insurance data, solving complex problems in data extraction and standardization. The role involves working with LLMs for automated data extraction and structuring complex insurance data. This is an early team position at a fast-growing startup backed by top investors.

Key Responsibilities

• Build the platform for insurance data API
• Structure and clean complex insurance data
• Use LLMs for automated data extraction
• Work on industry-first evals for data extractors
• Orchestrate self-healing agents that improve over time

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 1+ years of experience building complex software systems in production
• Ability to take abstract projects end-to-end with high agency
• Experience in fintech or data aggregation high-growth startups is a plus
• Work in-person 4 days a week in NYC office
