About the Role

Centaur is seeking a creative front-end developer to join their product team and build a fast, modern web app for medical AI data labeling. The role involves developing intuitive interfaces, streamlined workflows, and custom media tools to enhance user experience and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and a passion for solving unique problems in a startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop intuitive, rich interfaces that communicate information effectively
• Create streamlined workflows for uploading large datasets from various sources
• Build custom media tools (image/video/text) for accurate and efficient data labeling
• Implement techniques like caching and async updates for smooth UX
• Design UI components and patterns to enable rapid feature shipping

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years of experience in full-time roles using JavaScript/TypeScript
• Ability to balance quality with speed and refactor as needed
• Motivated by solving hard & unique problems and advocating for the customer
• Experience shipping production code at a fast-growing startup

Nice to Have:

• Opinions about design, copy, and UI/UX
• Backend experience (application servers, database, etc)
• Prefers simplicity over complexity
• EST or CST time zone
