About the Role

QA Lead role to establish and mature structured quality processes for a BI application aggregating sales and marketing metadata. Responsibilities include defining QA strategy, developing test plans, performing manual and automated testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role requires transitioning from informal to formal QA lifecycle while driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Define QA strategy and own living QA test plan aligned to product roadmap
• Develop and maintain regression test plan and ensure consistent execution each release
• Build and maintain automated tests for UI, API, and data validations
• Establish quality gates and lead QA signoff before merging to production
• Define and track QA metrics and drive continuous improvement

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Experience creating QA strategies, test plans, and regression suites for SaaS or data-driven products
• Strong manual testing skills across UI, API, and data validations with solid defect management
• Hands-on test automation experience for UI and APIs using tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
• Proficiency with Jira or similar tools for planning, tracking, and reporting

Nice to Have:

• Experience with synthetic data generation and data quality frameworks like Great Expectations or dbt tests
• Exposure to integrations with platforms like Salesforce, Gong, Google Analytics, or SalesLoft
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
