About the Role

The Regional Maintenance Manager leads Amazon's North America RME operations, driving safety initiatives and optimizing equipment reliability across fulfillment centers. This senior role involves mentoring facilities managers, overseeing maintenance execution, and managing budgets while ensuring workplace safety and operational efficiency. The position requires extensive travel and leadership of large teams in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion safety standards and drive team compliance
• Lead and mentor field-based Facilities Managers to expand Amazon's fulfillment network
• Oversee budget development, execution, and capital planning
• Monitor and audit maintenance execution and safety practices across sites
• Recruit and hire exceptional talent for Facilities Maintenance roles

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 10+ years of managing large complex facilities organizations experience
• 7+ years of senior management and leadership responsibilities experience
• BS in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline or BS/BA with 4+ years experience in maintenance or 2+ years Amazon experience
• Ability to travel up to 80%

Nice to Have:

• MBA or other Masters degree and/or Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
• Professional Engineering registration
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, and SQL
• Exposure to Lean Concepts, TOC, layout design, cost/benefit analysis
