About the Role
Research Scientist Intern role at Meta's FAIR team focusing on generative vision AI. Responsibilities include conducting research on video/image generation, developing novel solutions, and contributing to publications. Requires PhD candidate with strong research background in computer vision and generative models.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on advanced topics in video and image generation
- Develop novel solutions and implement prototypes for large-scale generative systems
- Perform extensive experiments and analyze results on meaningful benchmarks
- Draft and polish research reports and/or publications
- Present research outcomes to internal and/or external audiences
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must Have:
- Currently has or is in process of obtaining PhD in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, AI or equivalent
- Strong research background evidenced by publications at top conferences (CVPR, NeurIPS, ICLR, etc.)
- Solid understanding of generative models (diffusion models, GANs, VAEs, transformers)
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch
- Must obtain work authorization in country of employment
Nice to Have:
- Proven track record of significant results demonstrated by grants, fellowships, patents
- Experience advancing AI techniques in Natural Language Processing or Computer Vision
- Experience manipulating and analyzing complex, large scale, high-dimensionality data
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and compute infrastructure
- Strong track record of contributions to open-source projects or shared research artifacts
