About the Role
Security Engineer role focused on ensuring security for AGI large language models and applications. Responsibilities include designing automated security guardrails, conducting threat modeling, and embedding security controls into development. The role involves collaboration with scientists and engineers to solve novel security challenges in Generative AI.Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automated security guardrails and paved roads for secure-by-default practices across AGI models and applications
- Conduct application security reviews, threat modeling sessions, and penetration testing to identify and remediate security risks early
- Partner with development teams to embed security controls into applications and provide technical guidance on architectural decisions
- Create and maintain security documentation, including design patterns, implementation guides, and secure software development kits (SDKs)
- Identify security risks and drive continuous improvement in security controls and practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must Have:
- 3+ years of experience in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, software development, cryptography, system administration, or network security
- Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 3+ years of programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++, or similar object-oriented language
Nice to Have:
- 5+ years of experience in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, software development, cryptography, system administration, or network security
- Experience with AWS products and services
- Experience identifying common Generative AI vulnerabilities such as prompt injection, training data poisoning, and model inversion
