About the Role

Senior Automation Engineer role focused on building comprehensive QA automation frameworks for web, API, and AI systems. The position involves creating productivity tools and establishing automation best practices while working closely with platform and AI engineering teams. This is a senior individual contributor role requiring hands-on framework development from scratch.

Key Responsibilities

• Build automation frameworks from the ground up for web, API, CLI, and AI system testing
• Design and implement QA automation for SaaS products and platform infrastructure
• Create AI testing infrastructure including eval suites, prompt testing scenarios, and non-deterministic system validation
• Build QA productivity tools that help Salesforce QA teams work more efficiently
• Champion quality by establishing automation best practices and testing standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 5-8 years of hands-on automation experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks
• Web automation mastery with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar modern frameworks
• API testing expertise automating REST/GraphQL APIs and building comprehensive test suites
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar for production-quality test code

Nice to Have:

• Salesforce ecosystem familiarity with knowledge of Salesforce testing tools and QA workflows
• AI system testing experience or strong interest in testing AI/ML systems
• Experience with CI/CD integration into deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI)
