About the Role

Senior Business Intelligence Engineer responsible for architecting and developing data, metrics, and reporting platforms for Alexa Trust. Leads BI solutions, big data capabilities, and automation to support engineers, scientists, and leadership with actionable insights while ensuring scalability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design and development of data, metrics and reporting platform
• Analyze and report key metrics to senior leadership
• Detect anomalies/trends and identify root causes with other teams
• Work with business teams and data scientists to meet business needs
• Troubleshoot issues and propose scalable, maintainable solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 7+ years of professional or military experience
• 5+ years of SQL experience
• Experience with design of experiments and statistical analysis
• Experience with AWS technologies
• Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills
• Experience with information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
• Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
• Experience building measures, metrics, and developing reporting solutions
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools

Nice to Have:

• Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
