About the Role

Senior Cloud Network Engineer role focused on operating and automating Microsoft Azure's hyperscale physical network for AI applications. Responsibilities include network design, automation development, and ensuring reliability of the world's largest cloud network for AI infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Works with stakeholders to determine user requirements for features
• Contributes to identification of dependencies and development of design documents
• Creates and implements code for products, services, or features
• Contributes to breaking down larger work items and providing estimations
• Acts as Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) for system monitoring and restoration

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field with equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience writing automation in Python, Powershell or C#
• 5+ years experience writing scripts using REST APIs, Syslog, XML, SNMP and Network Management Systems
• 5+ years experience with TCP/IP fundamentals and understanding of IP networking MPLS, BGP, ISIS, OSPF and Anycast routing

Nice to Have:

• 1+ years experience delivering network designs into production and live site accountability
• 4+ years experience in networking, scripting, and software development
• Cisco CCNA certification and experience with Linux/Unix operating systems and Windows servers
• Experience working on large scale networks and troubleshooting network issues
