About the Role

Senior eCAD Application Engineer focusing on AI and automation to support hardware projects. Develops custom programs, utilities, and AI solutions to enhance productivity for electrical engineers and layout design teams. Drives eCAD tools usage, data management, and provides training and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and document custom programs, utilities, and AI solutions for EE and layout teams
• Drive eCAD tools usage processes, methodologies, and integrations with other systems
• Drive data management solutions and integrations to enable secure AI usage
• Conduct training on eCAD tools, programs, and internal processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve design issues related to EE, PCB design, and eCAD tools

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 5+ years experience OR Bachelor's with 7+ years OR equivalent
• Experience with programming languages like C#, Python, TCL, SKILL, or similar in high-tech industry
• Experience using Cadence Allegro PCB Tools
• Hands-on experience in design, development, and launch of high-volume electronic products

Nice to Have:

• Strong technical problem-solving, ambiguity management, organizing, and documentation skills
• Interpersonal, influencing, leadership, verbal, and written communication skills
• Understanding of AI capabilities, prompt engineering, and offerings in eCAD area
• Knowledge and experience of eCAD Simulation and simulation environment
