About the Role

This role is a Senior Generative AI Strategist at AWS, focusing on helping customers leverage advanced technologies like generative AI and machine learning to enhance business outcomes. The strategist partners with customers and internal teams to craft industry-specific programs, drive sales opportunities, and deliver best practices for program delivery and business measurement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bring alignment between customer's technologists and business leads to explore generative AI possibilities and develop roadmaps
  • Discuss complex industry-specific business concepts with executives, managers, and technologists
  • Engage with various AWS teams including applied scientists, solutions architects, and industry specialists
  • Drive large, complex sales opportunities from ideation through closure and into delivery
  • Conduct workshop sessions to identify opportunities for delivering business value through generative AI or machine learning

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of professional or military experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the industry as a ML practitioner or executive
  • Experience participating in the sales lifecycle (directly or indirectly)
  • Experience in management consulting or related work
  • Experience launching technical programs, projects, or related work in big data, analytics, AI, and machine learning

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with writing communications such as strategy papers or white papers
  • Participated in product management and marketing lifecycles (directly or indirectly)
  • Experience presenting to audiences of 5 to 50 people of various levels and backgrounds
  • Passion for educating, training, designing, and building solutions for diverse customers
  • Advanced degree desired (e.g., MBA, MS)
