About the Role

Senior Maintenance Manager leads a large maintenance team at Amazon's fulfillment centers, focusing on maximizing equipment uptime, implementing reliability plans, and driving maintenance best practices. This role involves managing budgets, vendor relationships, and developing a world-class maintenance organization across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor site-based Maintenance Managers and Area Maintenance Managers
• Develop and implement Reliability plans to increase facility uptime
• Drive maintenance Best Practices, innovate work methods, and ensure a safe work environment
• Provide oversight for budget development, execution, and capital planning
• Recruit, interview, and hire talent for Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Area Manager roles

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 10+ years of managing large complex facilities organizations experience
• 7+ years of senior management and leadership responsibilities experience
• BS in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline or BS/BA with 4+ years experience in maintenance or 2+ years Amazon experience
• Previous corporate and/or regional Maintenance roles leading 80 or more employees including salaried employees

Nice to Have:

• MBA or other Master’s degree and/or Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
• Professional Engineering registration
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, and SQL
