About the Role

This senior role focuses on operational excellence and infrastructure capacity management within AWS Infrastructure Services. The candidate will drive strategic planning, continuous improvement, and automation to optimize cloud infrastructure and supply chain operations. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and cost-effective global infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic operational excellence planning and governance
• Operational readiness assessments for scalable deployment
• Continuous improvement and automation ownership to reduce/accelerate workflows and reduce risk
• Optimize cloud infrastructure strategies that support business growth, sustainability goals, and global risk management
• Capability assessments across people, process, data, systems, and SC architecture

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
• 6+ years of technical infrastructure management experience
• Experience in designing, building, and/or operating cloud data solutions in a production environment
• 6+ years of core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management

Nice to Have:

• Advanced degree in Engineering or related field
• Lean Six Sigma or an equivalent OpsEx certification
• Strong working knowledge of deep learning, machine learning, generative AI, and statistics
• Knowledge of Python or another scripting language
