About the Role

Software Development Engineer in Machine Learning role focused on enhancing large-scale training and real-time inference systems for Amazon Ads. The position involves developing LLM inference infrastructure and productionizing generative AI solutions to deliver relevant ads across Amazon platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance scalability, automation, and efficiency of large-scale training and real-time inference systems
• Pioneer development of LLM inference infrastructure for GenAI workloads at Amazon Ads scale
• Partner with Applied Scientists to productionize and scale end-to-end generative AI solutions
• Optimize model performance and inference infrastructure
• Build advanced machine learning models and infrastructure from training to inference

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 1+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or natural language processing

Nice to Have:

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Demonstrated track record of successfully implementing GenAI solutions in production environments
