About the Role

The Software Development Engineer on the AGI team will develop customization capabilities for large language models, including fine-tuning and prompt optimization. They will lead novel LLM training techniques and collaborate with scientists to advance multimodal AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of novel LLM training techniques and optimizations
• Build customization capabilities like fine-tuning, distillation, and prompt optimization
• Collaborate with Applied Scientists to accelerate multimodal LLM development
• Deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performance AI products
• Participate in code reviews and mentorship within the team

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Strong machine learning background

Nice to Have:

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
