About the Role

Join the Alexa AI Developer Tech team to build AI-native SDKs and tools for third-party developers, enabling engaging experiences on Alexa+ using generative AI and LLMs. You'll work on high-quality software for millions of devices, focusing on architecture, engineering best practices, and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Build software for Echo and Alexa-enabled devices using AI technologies like LLMs
• Take a long-term view of architecture and proactively fix deficiencies
• Drive engineering best practices including Operational Excellence, Security, and Quality
• Influence technical decisions and build consensus within the team
• Contribute to the professional development of colleagues

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Nice to Have:

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
