About the Role

This role involves building high-performance, scalable financial systems for Amazon's Finance Technology team. The engineer will design and develop services handling billions in global financial transactions, working on big data problems using AWS services and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop services for global financial transactions
• Solve technical challenges and build scalable solutions for accounting/finance teams
• Work on big data problems using AWS services
• Develop and deploy highly scalable distributed services
• Help create next-generation distributed financial systems

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 3+ years of programming with at least one software programming language

Nice to Have:

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Hands-on experience developing applications using Generative AI technologies
• Experience implementing and optimizing machine learning models in production
