About the Role

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design and build scalable distributed systems for Retail Business Services (RBS) Tech. The role involves solving complex business problems using technologies like machine learning and LLMs to automate retail processes and improve catalog quality. You will work on high-impact initiatives, drive engineering best practices, and mentor other engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices and full software development life cycle

Nice to Have:

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience contributing to architecture and design of new and current systems
