About the Role

Lead an engineering team building AI-enabled talent management products for Amazon managers. Responsible for full development lifecycle, technical design, and team development. Requires experience managing software engineers and shipping complex solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead overall development life cycle of solutions and manage complex projects with significant impact
  • Work with product managers and UX designers to develop strategy and roadmap
  • Collaborate with engineers on technical design and approach for new product development
  • Instill best practices for software development, documentation, and quality assurance
  • Manage career development and growth of direct reports

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • 3+ years of engineering team management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience
  • 3+ years of designing or architecting systems experience
  • 8+ years of leading definition and development of multi-tier web services experience

Nice to Have:

  • Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and senior leadership
  • Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring and managing software engineering teams
