About the Role

Software Engineer role at Abatable, a climate tech startup focused on carbon removal solutions. You'll be a full-stack individual contributor building technology to help organizations support credible climate solutions, working across the stack with ownership from concept to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from concept to deployment
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Data teams
• Write clean, thoughtful code with strong architecture and performance focus
• Contribute to improving engineering processes and codebase health
• Provide guidance and feedback to peers to raise team standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 5+ years experience building production software
• Full-stack experience across React, TypeScript, APIs, databases
• Product-minded approach understanding user problems and business impact
• Proactive ownership mindset with accountability for results
