About the Role

Software Engineer II role at Microsoft focusing on deploying and operating secure cloud services in airgapped environments. Key Responsibilities

• Act as Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) on rotational on-call basis to monitor services and respond to incidents
• Develop and maintain automation for deployment and production environments
• Collect and analyze telemetry data to inform system health and performance improvements
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and accessibility standards
• Build and enhance developer tools and reusable components to support efficient coding practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph
• Verification of U.S. citizenship
• Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire and every two years
