About the Role

Software Engineer II role developing features and improvements for Azure Data products within Microsoft's Cloud+AI team. Responsible for deploying and operating Azure services in air-gapped environments for highly secured government customers. Requires active Top Secret clearance with SCI access and polygraph.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop features, improvements, and bugfixes for Azure Data products
• Deploy and operate Azure services within air-gapped environments
• Ensure services meet security policy and assurance requirements for regulated industries
• Develop automation for production and deployment of complex product features
• Maintain operations of live service on rotational on-call basis

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with SCI access and Polygraph
• U.S. citizenship verification required

Nice to Have:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 4+ years technical engineering experience with Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with Azure services and cloud technologies
