About the Role
Software Engineer II role on the Teams Meetings Facilitator team at Microsoft, focusing on building AI-powered meeting experiences across the full stack. Responsibilities include translating business goals into engineering plans, working with stakeholders, and contributing to intelligent meeting spaces with Copilot and AI agent skills. Requires 2+ years of experience with full stack development and commercial product focus.Key Responsibilities
- Works with stakeholders to determine user requirements for features
- Contributes to design documents and identifies dependencies for product areas
- Creates and implements code for products, services, or features
- Breaks down larger work items into smaller ones and provides estimation
- Acts as Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) for on-call monitoring and problem resolution
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
- Experience with full stack development involving both client and service deliverables
- Experience with commercial product development with focus on user experiences
- Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire and every two years
Nice to Have:
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience OR equivalent
- Experience collaborating on large scale projects involving multiple stakeholders
- Experience leveraging AI to enhance team productivity
- Experience building AI applications
