About the Role

This is a senior management role leading verification teams for AWS's custom machine learning accelerator SoCs. The manager will develop verification strategies, collaborate with architecture and design teams, and ensure correctness and quality of ML accelerator SOCs. The position requires extensive experience in ASIC design verification and team management.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall verification manager, driving multiple teams to ensure correctness and quality of ML accelerator SOC
• Develop and execute detailed verification strategies and plans to validate functionality and performance of ASIC designs
• Collaborate closely with architecture, design, and software teams to identify and resolve complex design issues
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the verification team, driving continuous improvement in verification methodologies and processes
• Directly manage the verification organization, responsible for all aspects of people management

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Experience using multiple verification platforms: UVM test bench, FPGA, emulator, software environments, and system testing
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in ASIC/VLSI design verification with strong understanding of verification methodologies such as UVM
• 8+ years managing verification teams, 4+ years of experience with multi level management
• Proven track record of leading successful ASIC verification projects from planning to tapeout
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to quickly identify and troubleshoot complex design issues

Nice to Have:

• Advanced degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field
• Previous knowledge with Machine learning acceleration SOC architecture
• Hands on experience with front-end logic design
