About the Role

This role supports Japanese startups developing generative AI models by providing optimal solutions and business growth assistance. The account manager builds relationships with executives, aids in go-to-market strategies, and collaborates with internal stakeholders. It requires deep understanding of generative AI workloads and experience in enterprise sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deep understanding and solution proposal for generative AI model development and training/inference workloads
  • Building relationships with startup founders and CxO executives
  • Supporting go-to-market for customer-developed generative AI models
  • Developing business plans and achieving revenue targets
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders like solution architects and business development

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience in IT industry (including customer-facing engineers)
  • Business-level English proficiency for global team collaboration
  • Experience proposing to CxO level executives
  • Strong passion for supporting startup growth

Nice to Have:

  • Cloud experience at technology companies
  • Experience supporting or working in sales/development/business development at generative AI model development companies
  • Knowledge of computing and storage used by generative AI companies
  • Strategic planning and execution skills for goal achievement
  • Team player with leadership capabilities
  • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and services
