About the Role

Lead multiple teams of software engineers and applied scientists to develop and deliver AWS healthcare AI services. Drive technical strategy, design, and operations for scalable, fault-tolerant cloud services that transform healthcare through AI and data processing. Collaborate with leadership to define product vision and solve complex healthcare challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive technical strategy, design, development, deployment, and operations for new and existing AWS services
• Lead and mentor multiple managers and their teams, including software developers and applied scientists
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to define product vision, roadmap, and create impactful solutions
• Drive architectural decisions for large-scale, highly available cloud services
• Manage multiple concurrent programs and projects in an intrapreneurial environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 10+ years of engineering experience
• 5+ years of engineering team management experience
• 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience
• Experience with data processing, analytics and/or machine learning systems

Nice to Have:

• Experience in developing HIPAA/FDA compliant software
• Master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or PhD
• Experience building machine learning based platforms
