About the Role

Senior ML Engineer role in Amazon's AGI post-training team focused on developing novel algorithms and techniques for Large Language Model training. The position involves leading development of multimodal LLMs and generative AI solutions, collaborating with applied scientists, and building automated training workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of novel algorithms and techniques for LLM training
• Leverage heterogeneous data sources and large-scale computing resources
• Collaborate with Applied Scientists on LLM fine tuning experiments and prototypes
• Build automated training workflows
• Work in Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Nice to Have:

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
