About the Role
This is a senior Technical Support Engineering role focused on security and compliance within Microsoft's Customer Experience and Success organization. The engineer will resolve complex issues with Microsoft security and compliance products, provide mission-critical support to enterprise customers, and drive product improvements. The position requires extensive technical expertise, customer-facing skills, and collaboration across teams.Key Responsibilities
- Own, investigate, and solve customer technical issues
- Lead or participate in building communities and share knowledge
- Develop technical proficiency through training and readiness
- Identify potential product defects and escalate appropriately
- Collaborate with software developers to recommend feature improvements
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must Have:
- 6+ years of experience in Exchange Online supporting email hygiene, labels, policies, Audit logs, or Azure Information Protection
- 6 years of customer-facing support experience
- 6+ years of experience with Azure Active Directory administration, Microsoft Purview Compliance, and/or Azure Information Protection
- 6+ years of enterprise cloud experience with major cloud providers, including cloud security
Nice to Have:
- Experience supporting large and complex geographically distributed enterprise environments with 1000+ users
- Demonstrated experience learning new technologies
- Strong collaborative skills and extensive cross-group coordination skills
